The Studio

Almost eight years of lash artistry in London

The Journey

Decardi Beauty is the studio of Hakimah Decardi Nelson, who has been lashing in London for almost eight years. What began as a fascination with how a set could change the way someone carried themselves became a full craft, learned slowly and corrected often.

The studio stays deliberately small. Every client sits with the same technician from consultation through to aftercare — the part of the work that has never been worth scaling away.

The Signature Style

Strip A Likes is the studio's signature. It takes the fullness of American-style lashing and adapts it for the UK, using wisps, mixed curls and seamless bottom lash blending so the set reads as one continuous line rather than rows of extensions.

The result is a strip-lash finish that stays light on the natural lash, which means it wears well and grows out cleanly.

Teaching & Education

Teaching grew out of the same questions being asked over and over by other technicians. The studio now runs beginner and refresher classes, with a self-paced course in development so the method can be learned anywhere.

The aim with education matches the aim with clients: no shortcuts, and no technique taught that isn't used in the chair every week.
